In her presentation, Lisa Long will speak about her curatorial approach to time-based art, emphasizing the interplay between exhibition dramaturgy, affect, and the political and ethical dimensions of contemporary image production. Drawing on three key projects from her tenure as curator at the Julia Stoschek Foundation, Long will introduce her concept of "exhibition as sensual montage,” a curatorial adaptation of Sergei Eisenstein’s cinematic theory of montage.
